What is Erasmus+?

Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport. With a budget of €26.2 billion, it enables millions of Europeans to study, train, gain experience and volunteer abroad. For teachers and school staff, Erasmus+ funds professional development through structured courses, job shadowing and teaching assignments abroad. eMove courses are fully designed to be Erasmus+ compatible, so your school can use its Erasmus+ grant to attend.

02

KA121 — Accredited Path

KA121 is the accredited path for organisations holding a valid Erasmus accreditation. Schools with an accreditation can organise learning mobilities for their staff over the course of their accreditation period, following a multi-year Erasmus Plan. eMove works with accredited schools to deliver courses aligned with their objectives.

03

KA122 — Short-Term Mobility

KA122 allows schools without an Erasmus accreditation to apply for short-term learning mobilities for their staff. This is the ideal entry point for schools new to Erasmus+. eMove courses are structured to fit KA122 requirements — clear objectives, practical outcomes and recognised certification.

04

Funding

Erasmus+ funding typically covers course fees, travel costs to and from the destination, individual support for accommodation and subsistence, and organisational support for the sending school. Funding amounts vary by destination and duration. eMove provides course descriptions, learning outcomes and certification details.

05

Erasmus+ Priorities

Erasmus+ has three key priorities: Inclusion & Diversity, environment and the fight against climate change, and digital transition. eMove designs every course to address at least one of these priorities explicitly.
